The Atsu dining chair features a minimalist design inspired by traditional Chinese chairs. Crafted from FSC-certified American red oak, it is meticulously finished by skilled artisans. The chair's asymmetrical construction incorporates solid oak planks forming the front leg and the central backrest. This design creates a sculptural effect, inviting the chair to be viewed from different perspectives. Despite its substantial appearance, the chair maintains a clean and understated aesthetic. The name "Atsu" is derived from Japanese and means "heavy" or "strong," reflecting the chair's visual presence and balanced design. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
