Description

Carrara: a 4-seater sofa with a clear, linear shape and slim armrests. This gives it a light and modern look while still offering plenty of seating space.

  • Comfort: The seat upholstery made of highly elastic HR foam is pleasantly firm and dimensionally stable, providing good support even after years of use.
  • Construction: A frame made of solid pine wood and a sturdy suspension provide secure support and ensure a long service life.
  • Cover and care: Cover in beige (Scott Sand). Scott is a textured fabric made of chenille yarn with a dense weave and a subtle mélange that masks small signs of wear. Thanks to AntiStain protection, spilled drinks can be easily blotted up. With 90,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, the cover is very durable and made for daily use.

More information about the product

Collection: Carrara Colour: Light beige Material: Velvet Fabric: Bluvel 22 Abrasion resistance (Martindale): 100,000 Fabric composition: This is a synthetic fabric that imitates velvet with a delicate sheen. The perfect choice for elegant furniture designs. It has excellent abrasion resistance, which significantly reduces the risk of damage (Martindale test 50,000, 320 g/m²). The material is extremely soft and feels silky to the touch. The fabric has passed the cigarette test, meaning the upholstery system is resistant to smouldering and ignition and meets the standard PN-EN 1021-1:2014-12. Care instructions: Furniture upholstered in velvet fabric should be cleaned every one to two weeks. Gently brush the fabric in one direction using a soft brush or sponge. This removes dust and dirt without letting it penetrate deeper into the fabric. Brushing also lifts the pile and prevents the so-called "crushing" effect, i.e., the flattening of fibres in areas where one sits or leans most frequently. The velvet upholstery should be thoroughly refreshed 1–2 times a year. Gently wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral detergent, e.g., dishwashing liquid mixed with water. Then wipe with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove detergent residue. Allow the fabric to air dry. You can also use special upholstery cleaners for fabrics, such as foam, shampoo, or spray. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions. For stains or spills, carefully dab the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yoghurt, or lipstick, gently lift off the remains of the substance. To clean the sofa, use mild, neutral detergents such as dishwashing liquid or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleaches can damage the cover. To avoid this, test the detergent on an inconspicuous area of the furniture and wait 15 minutes. Carefully vacuum the fabric before wet cleaning to remove surface dirt, so that it does not get deeper into the material. Clean the soiled area slowly and gently with circular motions from the outer edge of the stain towards the centre, trying to loosen the dirt from between the fibres. Avoid vigorous and heavy rubbing so as not to damage the velvet pile. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, expanding the cleaned area around the stain. Apply the cleaning solution in thin layers and remove excess solution immediately. If too much cleaning solution penetrates the fabric, it can become hard. After cleaning, wipe the treated area thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution and avoid water marks. Do not use hot water to remove stains, especially organic ones, as this can set the stains. After removing the stain, let the fabric air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the cover may become deformed.
