Fabric composition: The furniture fabric Casino is a thick, exceptionally soft velour with a very subtle sheen and a smooth, even surface. The fine, plush texture is pleasant to the touch and has an elegant appearance. This high-quality fabric gives furniture a noble and refined look while providing a cozy character. The fabric is equipped with technologically advanced features. First, it is extremely abrasion-resistant. It is also scratch-resistant, making it a good choice for pet owners. An important property of the fabric is its stain resistance and the slow absorption of liquids, which makes cleaning significantly easier. Thanks to these advantages, furniture upholstered with the Casino fabric will bring you joy for much longer.
Care instructions: Furniture upholstered with velvet fabric should be cleaned every one to two weeks. Gently brush the fabric in one direction using a soft brush or sponge. This removes dust and dirt without pushing them deeper into the fabric. Brushing also raises the pile and prevents the so-called "crushing" effect, which is the flattening of fibers in areas where people sit or lean most frequently.
The velvet upholstery should be thoroughly refreshed 1–2 times a year. Gently wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral cleaning agent, e.g., dish soap mixed with water. Follow up by wiping with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any detergent residue. Allow the fabric to air dry.
You can also use special upholstery cleaners for fabrics, such as foam, shampoo, or spray. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when doing so.
For stains or spilled liquids, gently blot the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, carefully scoop up the remains of the substance.
To clean the sofa, use mild, neutral cleaning agents such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the upholstery. To avoid this, test the cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area of the furniture and wait 15 minutes.
Vacuum the fabric carefully before wet cleaning to remove surface dirt so it does not get driven deeper into the material.
Clean the soiled area slowly and gently in circular motions from the outer edge of the stain toward the center, attempting to lift the dirt out from between the fibers.
Avoid vigorous and hard rubbing so as not to damage the velvet's pile.
Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, expanding the cleaned area around the stain.
Apply the cleaning solution in thin layers and remove any excess immediately. If too much cleaning solution seeps into the fabric, it can become stiff.
After cleaning, wipe the treated area thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution and avoid water rings.
Do not use hot water to remove stains, especially organic ones, as this can cause the stains to set.
After removing the stain, allow the fabric to air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the upholstery may become deformed.
