Fabric composition: Sorella is a textured upholstery fabric with an appealing and attractive appearance. It features a fine tweed weave with a clearly visible, regular pattern. The material has an exceptionally smooth feel, complemented by a delicate fuzz on the surface that conveys a pleasant sense of softness and cozy warmth. Inspired by retro aesthetics, it lends furniture a unique character of balanced luxury. The surface of the fabric has a subtle sheen, and the irregular melange coloring is fascinating and eye-catching. This shows that traditional design solutions can look fresh even in modern interiors. Sorella is ideal for upholstering classic furniture pieces, but also for large sofas with minimalist silhouettes or rounded shapes, naturally creating interiors of exquisite elegance. In addition, the fabric has practical properties that significantly facilitate the daily use of the furniture. It is wear- and stain-resistant and easy to clean. Any potential marks are less noticeable on the melange surface, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of your furniture for a long time.
Care instructions: Furniture upholstered with textured fabric should be cleaned once a week or every two weeks. Gently brush the fabric with a soft brush or use a vacuum cleaner on a low setting with a special upholstery nozzle. This will remove dust and dirt without allowing them to penetrate deeper.
Once or twice a year, the textured fabric cover should be thoroughly refreshed. Wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral detergent, e.g., dish soap and water. Then wipe with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any detergent residue. Allow the fabric to air dry.
You can also use special upholstery cleaners for fabrics. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when doing so.
In case of stains or spilled liquids, gently blot the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, gently lift the remains of the substance.
To clean the sofa, use mild, neutral detergents such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water at a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the cover.
Do not attempt to remove stains—especially organic ones—with hot water, as they may set.
Clean the soiled area slowly using circular motions from the outer edge of the stain toward the center. This prevents the stain from spreading further.
Avoid vigorous and heavy rubbing so as not to damage the structure of the fabric.
Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, enlarging the cleaned area around the stain to avoid water marks.
Test the cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area of the furniture before starting cleaning to avoid damaging the fabric.
After removing the stain, let the fabric air dry at room temperature.
Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the cover may deform.
