Care instructions: Furniture upholstered in bouclé fabric should be cleaned every one to two weeks with a soft brush or carefully vacuumed on a low setting using a special upholstery nozzle. This will remove dust and dirt before they penetrate deep into the fibers. You can also remove loose lint with a lint roller or adhesive tape. The bouclé cover should be thoroughly refreshed once or twice a year. Wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral cleaning agent, such as dish soap and water. Afterwards, wipe with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any cleaning agent. Allow the fabric to air dry. You can also use special upholstery cleaners according to the manufacturer's instructions. In case of stains or spills, gently dab the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove stains from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, carefully pick up the remnants of the substance. For cleaning, use mild, neutral detergents such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the cover. Do not attempt to remove stains – especially organic ones – with hot water, as this can set them permanently. Clean the soiled area with gentle, circular motions from the outside in. Avoid vigorous or strong rubbing so as not to damage the fabric's structure. Repeat the process if necessary, enlarging the cleaned area around the stain to avoid rings. Before you start cleaning, test the cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area of the furniture to avoid damaging the fabric. After removing the stain, let the fabric air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the cover may lose its shape.
