Description

Ravello: a 3-seater sofa bed that impresses as a comfortable sofa during the day and transforms into a guest bed in an instant at night. Generous back cushions give it an inviting, cozy look.

  • Comfort: Loose back cushions and a seat with a wadding layer ensure comfortable seating and soft support.
  • Construction: A solid pine frame and sturdy suspension provide secure support, even with regular use as a place to sleep.
  • Sleep function and storage: Folded out in just a few simple steps, it creates a sleeping surface of 140x200 cm, ideal for overnight guests. The integrated storage box provides space for bedding and blankets.
  • Cover and care: Cover in light beige (Baltimore Sand). Baltimore is a soft textured fabric with a three-dimensional weave, where different yarn colors merge into a lively melange. It is durable and easy to care for. With 30,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, the cover is very hard-wearing and made for daily use.

More information about the product

Collection: Ravello Color: Beige Material: Velvet Fabric: Salvador 1 Abrasion resistance (Martindale): 100,000 Fabric composition: Beautiful, luxurious fabric with a subtle sheen and short pile. The material is thick and belongs to the velour category. It feels very pleasant to the touch and is also highly abrasion-resistant (Martindale test 100,000 and 440 g/m²). The LiquidBlocked technology used in the fabric makes it difficult for liquids to be absorbed – the liquid collects on the surface of the material without penetrating deep into the fibers. This allows spilled coffee, tea, or wine to be removed within seconds using a slightly absorbent cloth or paper towel. The fabric has passed the cigarette test, meaning the upholstery system is resistant to smoldering and ignition, meeting the PN-EN 1021-1:2014-12 standard. Care instructions: Furniture upholstered with velvet fabric should be cleaned every one to two weeks. Gently brush the fabric in one direction using a soft brush or sponge. This removes dust and dirt without pushing them deeper into the fabric. Brushing also lifts the pile and prevents the so-called "crushing" effect, which is the flattening of fibers in areas where you sit or lean most frequently. The velvet cover should be thoroughly refreshed 1–2 times a year. Gently wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral detergent, e.g., dish soap and water. Follow up by wiping with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any detergent residue. Allow the fabric to air dry. You can also use specialized upholstery cleaners for fabrics, such as foam, shampoo, or spray. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when doing so. In case of stains or spills, gently dab the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, carefully lift the remains of the substance. Use mild, neutral detergents such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water (ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water) to clean the sofa. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the cover. To avoid this, test the detergent on an inconspicuous area of the furniture and wait 15 minutes. Gently vacuum the fabric before wet cleaning to remove surface dirt so it does not penetrate deeper into the material. Clean the soiled area slowly and gently using circular motions from the outer edge of the stain toward the center, attempting to loosen the dirt from between the fibers. Avoid vigorous and heavy scrubbing to prevent damaging the velvet pile. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, increasing the cleaned area around the stain. Apply the cleaning solution in thin layers and remove excess solution immediately. If too much cleaning solution seeps into the fabric, it can become stiff. After cleaning, thoroughly wipe the treated area with a clean, damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution and prevent water spots. Do not use hot water to remove stains, especially organic ones, as this can set the stains. After removing the stain, allow the fabric to air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the cover may deform.
