Nama armchair made of oak and nubuck leather

The Nama Lounge Chair is inspired by the understated elegance of traditional Japanese chair forms, combining natural materials with thoughtful design to create a timeless, minimalist piece of furniture. The name "Nama" means "raw" and "natural" in Japanese, reflecting honest craftsmanship and deliberate reduction. Each wooden element is carefully shaped, rounded, and designed to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements, resulting in a sculptural yet understated silhouette. Lightweight and robust, the chair is particularly well-suited for relaxed living spaces. A distinctive feature is the upholstered backrest, inspired by Copenhagen bicycle panniers. Attached with two simple straps, it provides comfort and a unique touch. The fully upholstered seat enhances comfort, making the chair ideal for reading, conversation, or quiet moments.
