Fabric composition: The furniture fabric Casino is a thick, exceptionally soft velour with a very subtle sheen and a smooth, even surface. The fine, plush texture is pleasant to the touch and has an elegant effect. This high-quality fabric gives furniture a noble and refined look while also providing a cozy character. The fabric has been equipped with technologically advanced properties. First, it is extremely abrasion-resistant. Furthermore, it is scratch-resistant, making it a good choice for pet owners. An important feature of the fabric is its stain resistance and slow absorption of liquids, which makes cleaning significantly easier. Thanks to these advantages, furniture upholstered with the Casino fabric will bring you joy for a much longer time.
Care instructions: Furniture upholstered with velvet fabric should be cleaned every one to two weeks. Gently brush the fabric with a soft brush or sponge in one direction. This removes dust and dirt without letting it penetrate deeper into the fabric. Brushing also lifts the pile and prevents the so-called "crushing" effect, i.e., the flattening of the fibers in areas where you sit or lean most often.
The velvet cover should be thoroughly refreshed 1–2 times a year. Gently wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral cleaning agent, e.g., dish soap and water. Afterwards, wipe with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any cleaning agent residue. Allow the fabric to air dry.
You can also use special upholstery cleaners for fabrics, e.g., foam, shampoo, or spray. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when doing so.
In case of stains or spilled liquids, gently blot the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, carefully pick up the remains of the substance.
Use mild, neutral cleaning agents to clean the sofa, such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of cleaner per two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the cover. To avoid this, test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the furniture and wait 15 minutes.
Carefully vacuum the fabric before wet cleaning to remove surface dirt so that it does not penetrate deeper into the material.
Clean the soiled area slowly and gently with circular motions from the outer edge of the stain towards the center, attempting to loosen the dirt from between the fibers.
Avoid vigorous and heavy rubbing to prevent damage to the velvet pile.
Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, increasing the cleaned area around the stain.
Apply the cleaning solution in thin layers and remove excess solution immediately. If too much cleaning solution penetrates the fabric, it can become hard.
After cleaning, thoroughly wipe the treated area with a clean, damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution and avoid water rings.
Do not use hot water to remove stains, especially organic ones, as this can set the stains.
After removing the stain, allow the fabric to air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the cover may become deformed.
