Fabric composition: The Casino upholstery fabric is a thick, exceptionally soft velour with a very subtle sheen and a smooth, even surface. The fine, plush texture is pleasant to the touch and has an elegant appearance. This high-quality fabric gives furniture a noble and refined look while providing a cozy character. The fabric is equipped with technologically advanced properties. First, it is extremely abrasion-resistant. It is also scratch-resistant, making it a good choice for pet owners. An important feature of the fabric is its stain resistance and slow absorption of liquids, which makes cleaning significantly easier. Thanks to these advantages, furniture upholstered with Casino fabric will give you pleasure for much longer.
Care instructions: Furniture upholstered with velvet should be cleaned every one to two weeks. Gently brush the fabric in one direction using a soft brush or sponge. This removes dust and dirt without letting them penetrate deeper into the fabric. Brushing also raises the pile and prevents the "crushing" effect, i.e., the flattening of fibers in areas where you sit or lean most often.
The velvet cover should be thoroughly refreshed 1–2 times a year. Gently wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral detergent, e.g., dish soap mixed with water. Then wipe with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any detergent residue. Let the fabric air dry.
You can also use special upholstery cleaners for fabrics, such as foam, shampoo, or spray. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
For stains or spills, gently dab the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, carefully lift off the remains of the substance.
Use mild, neutral detergents to clean the sofa, such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the cover. To avoid this, test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the furniture and wait 15 minutes.
Vacuum the fabric gently before wet cleaning to remove surface dirt so that it does not penetrate deeper into the material.
Clean the soiled area slowly and gently with circular motions from the outer edge of the stain toward the center, attempting to lift the dirt out from between the fibers.
Avoid vigorous and heavy rubbing to prevent damaging the velvet pile.
Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, enlarging the cleaned area around the stain.
Apply the cleaning solution in thin layers and remove excess solution immediately. If too much cleaning solution seeps into the fabric, it can become stiff.
After cleaning, wipe the treated area thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution and avoid water rings.
Do not use hot water to remove stains, especially organic ones, as this can set the stains.
After removing the stain, let the fabric air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the cover may lose its shape.
