Fabric composition: The Casino upholstery fabric is a thick, exceptionally soft velour with a very subtle sheen and a smooth, uniform surface. The fine, plush texture is pleasant to the touch and looks elegant. This high-quality fabric gives furniture a refined and sophisticated appearance while also providing a cozy feel. The fabric has been equipped with technologically advanced properties. Firstly, it is extremely resistant to abrasion. It is also scratch-resistant, making it a good choice for pet owners. An important feature of the fabric is its stain resistance and slow liquid absorption, which significantly facilitates cleaning. Thanks to these advantages, furniture upholstered with Casino fabric will bring you joy for much longer.
Care instructions: Furniture upholstered with velvet should be cleaned every one to two weeks. Gently brush the fabric in one direction using a soft brush or sponge. This removes dust and dirt without pushing it deeper into the fabric. Brushing also lifts the pile and prevents the "crushing" effect, which is the flattening of fibers in areas where you sit or lean most often.
The velvet upholstery should be thoroughly refreshed 1–2 times a year. Gently wipe the entire fabric with a damp solution of a neutral detergent, such as dish soap mixed with water. Then, wipe over with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any detergent residue. Allow the fabric to air dry.
You can also use specialized upholstery cleaners for fabrics, such as foam, shampoo, or spray. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
In case of stains or spills, gently blot the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, carefully lift the remains of the substance.
Use mild, neutral detergents to clean the sofa, such as dish soap or mild soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleach can damage the upholstery. To avoid this, test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the furniture and wait 15 minutes.
Vacuum the fabric carefully before wet cleaning to remove surface dirt so that it does not get deeper into the material.
Clean the soiled area slowly and gently using circular motions from the outer edge of the stain toward the center, attempting to loosen the dirt from between the fibers.
Avoid vigorous or heavy rubbing to prevent damaging the velvet pile.
Repeat the cleaning process if necessary, gradually expanding the cleaned area around the stain.
Apply the cleaning solution in thin layers and remove any excess immediately. If too much cleaning solution penetrates the fabric, it can become stiff.
After cleaning, wipe the treated area thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution and prevent water marks.
Do not use hot water to remove stains, especially organic ones, as this can set the stains.
Allow the fabric to air dry at room temperature after removing the stain. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source. Do not sit on the sofa during this time, as the upholstery may become deformed.
